PROMOTION

CONSUMER RULES (“RULES”)

1. ENTRANTS

1.1     Each entrant must be aged 18 or over to participate in the MYSTERY GRAIL “GRAIL QUEST" GAME 2025 promotion (“Promotion”).

1.2  The following are not eligible to participate in the Promotion at any time:

(a) any person who is at any time during the Promotion an employee (or an immediate family member of any such person) of Mystery Grail (referred to in these Rules as “Mystery Grail”), or its parent company (7 Bucks a Pop, LLC/7BaP) and owned e-commerce sites and brands.

(b) other persons assisting with this Promotion;

(c) any person not being an individual person;

(d) any syndicate or collection of persons acting in concert;

(e)  any person entering via an agent, or using the services of or which is an entity carrying on the business of entering (or advising on entering) prize promotions; and

(f) any person using any application or process to submit an entry on that person’s behalf automatically or by proxy.

(g) any person under the age of 18 without legal adult supervision

2. DURATION OF THE PROMOTION

2.1  The Promotion is scheduled to take place through December 31, 2025.

2.2  Any supervening circumstance beyond Mystery Grail’s control which causes Mystery Grail to exercise its rights [in Section 5] may include Mystery Grail curtailing, deferring and/or extending any scheduled period for entering any game, claiming any prize and/or completing any prize-fulfilment process referred to in these Rules (including, without limit, for the purpose of issuing stocks of the in-box/package Promotional Game Piece [each a “Game Piece”] which would otherwise remain undistributed at the end of the Promotion or for enabling originally estimated volumes of game-entries to be made). While Mystery Grail shall endeavor to post relevant information on the Grail Quest page of the Mystery Grail website and company social media accounts (and entrants and prospective entrants are advised to check those regularly), Mystery Grail shall not be obliged to give notice of any such curtailment, deferral or extension (unless prescribed by law).


3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1   Game Pieces and Game Piece Sets

While stocks of Game Pieces last, customers can obtain a game piece with the purchase of any qualifying Mystery Grail item (as set out in Section 3.3 below). No purchase necessary to obtain Game Pieces, enter, or win and a purchase will not increase or alter your chances of winning a prize. To acquire a single Game Piece by mail, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a note requesting a "Grail Quest" game piece to: Mystery Grail "Grail Quest", 832 Oregon Ave., Suite K, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. Additional details regarding entry by mail can be found in section 7.7. Failure to complete any part of the alternative entry requirements may be considered disqualifying at the sole discretion of Mystery Grail. 

Each Game Piece will contain one unique color-coded and category-defined character image and name which, when combined with all pieces (between two and four Game Pieces make up each color-code/category— a "set") in the matching color-code/category, can be used to enter the Promotion via the submission form on the Mystery Grail "Grail Quest" web page in accordance with Section 3.2 below. Game Pieces allow for entry to the Promotion and, when grouped into a complete "set" in their color-code/category, are directly linked specific prizes as defined on the “game board” on the “Grail Quest” page of the Mystery Grail website. 

Game pieces are freely transferable and are permitted to be sold, resold, traded or gifted.

Please make sure Game Pieces are kept safe and undamaged at all times. At Mystery Grail's discretion, it may be required to physically send winning game pieces to Mystery Grail as part of that prize claim.

3.2    Submission of Game Piece Completed Sets

Upon completion of a set, entrants should submit a photo of all requisite Game Pieces of that set in their totality in a single photo (photo must show all pieces fully and completely, unobscured by one-another or other objects) via the submission form on the Mystery Grail "Grail Quest" web page.

3.3    Promotion Duration - The Promotion has no fixed end date. Promotion ends when all prizes have been claimed or at the sole discretion of Mystery Grail. Closure of the Promotion will be announced on the Grail Quest web page and though social media accounts and email mailing list communication.

3.4    Volume of Game Pieces - Mystery Grail has produced a total volume of Game Pieces which Mystery Grail considers reasonably likely to satisfy estimated demand for Game Pieces during the Promotion. Should demand prove to be higher than expected, then Game Pieces may run out prior to the end of the Promotion. As a result, customers may find updates to that effect on the Grail Quest page as warranted.

4. PRIZE-DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS

4.1    Prizes based on game board category and quantity of those prizes are as follows:

4.2    Further prize details and conditions for all prizes.

There are no collective nor individual prize limits—any customer is eligible to claim as many prizes as they have valid winning game piece sets for.

4.3.1    The expression “prizes” when used in these Rules shall include prizes, awards, vouchers, offers, discount vouchers and passes as well as the corresponding services and/or goods available to be redeemed through the use of such prizes, vouchers, discount vouchers or passes. All Prizes (including individual elements of a prize) may not be exchanged for any cash or other alternative.

4.3.2    The Promoter shall not be under any obligation to inquire whether the person submitting any prize claim:

(a)            is the person entitled to make the claim, irrespective as to whether or not that person first obtained the game piece(s)

(b)            is otherwise eligible to claim the prize, or

(c)            has supplied complete, accurate and true details to ensure that a prize is only claimed by and fulfilled for the benefit of the winner

4.3.3    By claiming a prize, the winner represents for the winner and (to the extent this is applicable because the conditions for that prize permit the winner to share it and the winner opts to do so) the winner also represents on behalf of each person with whom the winner is sharing the prize, that (in addition to agreeing to the Rules) each agrees to these terms and conditions.

4.3.4    All advertisements depicting the Game Piece Label, Game Piece Codes, Reveals, prizes and prize descriptions are illustrative rather than definitive.

4.3.5    Reproduction of any prize-imagery does not thereby imply any endorsement or association by the producer of that prize nor by the owner of any brand associated with that prize.

4.3.6     All rights to claim any unawarded or unclaimed prizes will lapse, if not the subject of valid claims or where the Rules are not complied with, including without limitation if the award or redemption of the prizes is not completed within the time limits as prescribed by the Rules and in any event by January 31, 2026 at the latest (unless otherwise specified). The Promoter is not responsible for the failure of a prize set holder to redeem or claim the specified prize.

4.3.7     The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to supply a prize, in the event that the Promoter has received a notice from a Competent Authority (a “Notice”) preventing it or them from supplying the prize. In this context, a “Competent Authority” means any government body, commission, regulator, authority, agency or court having jurisdiction over the Promoter.

4.3.8     The prizes described in Section 4 stated to be provided by Mystery Grail are owned by the Promoter until awarded to winners.

 

5      THE PROMOTER’S RIGHTS

5.1    The Promoter may, acting reasonably (a) extend any time limit, exercise a right of discretion or waive any of the Rules where a person might otherwise have been disqualified or otherwise disadvantaged (without obliging the Promoter to extend any time limit, exercise a right of discretion or waive any Rule on any further occasion for that entrant or at all for any other person), (b) terminate or suspend, cancel, postpone or vary the Promotion (or any part, feature or element of the Promotion including, without limit, any entry-method, game, or prize) at any time due to supervening circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control including (without limit) those which the Promoter determines have or are likely to compromise the security or credibility of the Promotion (or the affected part, feature or element of it), and (c) substitute a product deemed to be an appropriate replacement and of equal or greater value in the place of any of the prizes (or any part of a prize).

5.2 The Promoter’s reasonable decision in the exercise or interpretation of any of its rights or discretions in connection with these rules shall be final and binding and reference to the discretion of the promoter shall mean its sole discretion.

 

6      PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY

6.1    Please see our privacy policy for details on how we use your personal information of winners and other entrants

6.2   The identities of the winners of prizes will only be revealed by the Promoter at the discretion of the prize winner and in specific agreement with the Promoter. 

6.3   Should the Promoter invite any winner to participate in publicity, it shall not imply any obligation on the Promoter to extend the same or similar invitation to any other winner, nor to proceed with any publicity offered to the invitee.

6.4    In administering the Promotion, the Promoter will collect and process your personal data solely as prescribed in the overarching Mystery Grail website privacy policy. The types of personal data typically collected and processed are your name, postal address, and email address

7      GENERAL

7.1   The acceptance of a Game Piece amounts to acceptance of the Rules and to their respective interpretation under US law.

7.2   You understand and accept that the Promoter retains ownership of all Game Pieces, and ownership or control of the trade marks and other intellectual property in and over the Game Pieces, and all Promotion-advertising at all times. You acknowledge and agree that you have the right to use the Game Pieces solely for the purposes of the proper participation in the Promotion in accordance with the Rules and the following shall not be considered proper participation in the Promotion:

(a)            any use for any purpose whatsoever of any Promotion advertising or any feature taken from it,

(b)            anything which is a breach by you of the Rules.

7.3   At the end of the Promotion, all Games Pieces shall be null and void and you shall have no rights to use them for any purpose.

7.4   All age limits shall be deemed to be actual age as at the time of acceptance of the Rules, unless expressly stated otherwise in these Rules.

7.5   The Promoter may require such information (in addition to the information required to be given on entries or prize claims) as they consider necessary or desirable for the purposes of verifying any entry or claim for a prize or award or an entrant’s/claimant’s compliance generally with the Rules and any prize or award may be withheld unless and until the Promoter and the prize-partner is satisfied with the verification.

7.6   Reference to any Game Pieces being or becoming invalid or void shall mean that the Game Pieces, together with all prize claims made and rights to make any prize claim arising in connection with such Game Pieces, shall be or become invalid and void.

7.7    Any communication which an entrant is required to send by post under these Rules must be sent via the postal service of the entrant's country of residence and through the United States Postal Service USPS alone and, if a "stamped" envelope is required, franking is not acceptable. The Promoter is entitled to treat any communication, however sent, as not received if not sent in the manner directed by the Rules, such as ( without limit) a mailed communication that isn’t properly stamped.

7.8   No claim under or participation in this Promotion or any Game Pieces or prizes, is valid in combination with any other offer or promotion, save to the extent expressly stated herein.

7.9   Should the Promoter determine (in the Promoter’s reasonable discretion) based on the evidence in its possession at any given time that any person (a) is ineligible (b) has failed to comply with any of these Rules or (c) is misusing or tampering or attempting to misuse or tamper with the proper conduct of the Promotion, then in any of those events the Promoter may adjudge (in its reasonable discretion) that:

(a)            every Game Piece, Game Piece Set entry, and other voucher/prize code, entry, prize claim and/or communication made by that person to the Promoter or any of its agents, will be invalid and void for all purposes,

(b)            such person shall become (with retrospective effect) ineligible to take part in this Promotion, and/or

(c)            such person shall become (with retrospective effect) ineligible for every other promotion or offer of the Promoter (with the effect that every entry, claim and request by that person then in process or still to be made shall be void, invalid and have no force or effect so that the Promoter is entitled to disregard them all without incurring any liability therefor.

7.10    Reference in these Rules or any promotional advertising, material or communication to any person as a “winner” or which otherwise expresses or might imply that a prize has been won, shall not thereby imply a waiver of any verification or claims processes for the award of prizes and any related rights of the Promoter arising in accordance with these Rules to delay, withhold or invalidate any prize-awards. Any waiver of any verification or claims processes stipulated in these Rules for the award of prizes shall only be effective and binding upon the Promoter if communicated by the Promoter in writing and then only to the extent specifically stated in that communication and (whether stated or not) solely applying for the named recipient and no other person or persons.

7.11     To the extent that the Promoter publicizes the Promotion on any social media platform such as Facebook. Instagram, X, Discord, etc. or Facebook: (a) it shall not thereby be implied that the social media platform provider is jointly or solely sponsoring, endorsing or administering the Promotion, (b) each entrant hereby releases the social media platform-provider absolutely and unconditionally from responsibility for the Promotion, (c) each entrant understands that the entrant is alone responsible for ensuring that the content of any posting on social media and for sharing any post in other media, is done in a responsible manner and each entrant undertakes to take account before doing so of the suitability of the media and the age and other characteristics of its users for the posting; and (d)information supplied by any person via a social media platform (including taking part in any poll or vote for marketing activity in support of the Promotion) is deemed to have been provided solely to the Promoter and not to the social media platform and on the prior understanding and acceptance that such information may be subject to use by the social platform-provider in accordance with its published terms of use.

7.12    The Promoter may (in its reasonable discretion): (a) decline to enter into any correspondence save as otherwise stated in the Rules, (b) alter the Rules during the Promotion Period to the extent it considers (acting reasonably) necessary or desirable to maintain and preserve the integrity and reputation of a Promotion, to comply with applicable laws, or the fair, effective or secure operation of the Promotion (and altered Rules will be available for review at https://mysterygrail.com › pages › terms-and-conditions), and (c) perform any stated function in the Rules via an agent and the entrant shall be required to accept such performance as if it was directly by the Promoter.

7.13    Any person with a disability preventing compliance with any stated requirement in these Rules should contact the Promoter by means of email, addressed to armin@mysterygrail.com.

7.14     Nothing in these Rules shall affect the statutory rights of entrants.

7.15     Expressions which have been defined in these Rules shall have the same meanings when used in such other instructions, rules and conditions relating to this Promotion wherever the context admits

7.16     Reproduction of the trade marks and imagery of any third party (not being a prize-supplier), do not thereby imply any endorsement of, or association with, the Promoter by the respective owners or their affiliates

7.17         All artwork, elements and characters and other trade marks and trade names featured in these Rules and on all Game Pieces, advertising and other Promotion materials are the properties of their respective owners and all rights in or over the same are reserved by the respective owners.
